I was thrilled to know that another financier and investor decided to become a philanthropist. A person I have in mind here is Henry Kravis. If you have heard about Henry Kravis, you probably also heard about the company that he co-founded . This company is Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Those of you who are interested in politics might have heard how he supports the Republicans. Henry Kravis is an avid supporter of Republican politics. For example, he supported ex-president Bush presidential campaign a few years ago. He also donated money to help John McCain become president. This is not where his support ends. As the co-founder and co-owner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Henry Kravis supports many other noble causes he considers important. What is the most important is the fact that he financed the construction of multiple schools in the United States. Financing schools helps children from all across the country obtain the education they need in order to be able to get to college or university. Henry Kravis sets an example as an avid philanthropist who supports many worthy causes. His wife is an economist Marie-Josee Kravis. They also support health centers located all across the country.
