Managers

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear about management? You probably think about books that talk about management. You are right to think that way. David C. Baker thinks about management a lot too. In his newest book, Managing (Right) for the First Time, Baker shares with his readers the best approach to management he can think of. He believes that the typical performance review should be abandoned because it is dead. In his opinion, it is much better to have a 10-minute "walk and talk" during which the manager and the managed talk about the things they would like to change.
