From time to time, I hear that a child was born with birth defects such as lung problems or foot deformities. I do not remember hearing about such cases even a decade ago, but it seems that the use of some antidepressants is the cause of many birth defects many people are not even aware of. Every time I hear about somebody filing a paxil lawsuit, it makes me realize how dangerous such medications can be during pregnancy. Women should be aware of the fact that taking some antidepressants during pregnancy puts their children at unnecessary risk. My advice is when you are pregnant, do not take any medications at all.
